Maxwell Concrete is a family run business based in Northern Ireland, establishing itself as one of the original leading precast manufacturers in the province. Built on 50 years experience the Maxwell family name is widely renowned throughout Ireland for producing high quality agricultural products at competitive prices.

Founded by Craig Maxwell during the 1960’s as a small quarrying business it has expanded to producing grant approved cattle slats for over four decades.

During 2007, a new production line was installed within the Precast Division highlighting the company’s commitment to producing a wide choice of agricultural precast flooring.

The business celebrated its 45th year in 2008, clearly demonstrating their demand for consistent, reliable and accountable products. "Customer satisfaction is paramount to us and we will work with our customers in order to meet their requirements" commented a company spokeswoman.

2009 saw the opening of the Prestressed Division of the company offering a wider and varied range of products including wall panels and grain dividers. It also saw the launch of their latest range of Fast Flow Drinkers, with an innovative centre core pipe protection system designed around the general rule that water should be clean, fresh and readily available.

Maxwell Concrete can present to the UK farmer a varied product range. Our highly acclaimed cattle slat, available in 6" increments from 7' to 13' is designed to meet the needs of beef and dairy farming and in accordance with British and European standards. The company spokesperson further commented "We understand the importance of providing cattle with confident footing which is why we produce our gang slat with a brush finish; furthermore our production methods allow us to manufacture a slat with smooth, tapered sides to ensure cattle are kept clean".

Every aspect of the business is conducted under one manufacturing facility based in Co Tyrone using controlled production procedures, furthermore Maxwell Concrete operate a quality management system to provide local and mainland customers with the best possible product at all times.
